Virtual Directories and Permissions on them

Hi, I can create virtual directories no problem, but I can't assign permission on them. ie

VD
test c:\test

Read, or Execute permissions. I need this to run a product im using. Is there anyway to modify the MyWebServer.ini file to do this ?
