Visual Studio Installation Problem

I am trying to install Visual Studio 6.0 on my Compaq Presario Notebook running on Window XP home edition.

I keep on getting following error prompt and the installation stalked:

Setup could not read from the file "D:\COMMON\IDE\IDE98\RESOURCE\1033\VSDPLUI.DLL

HOw to fix this problem? Thanks,
